COUNSELORS at Pyro 2 are college and older high school students who have a deep faith in Christ and a desire to serve students. Counselors fill out an application at Colonial Church, undergo a background check, are interviewed face-to-face, and receive training prior to camp to equip them to serve your jr. higher. In fact, the online counselor application is right HERE.

Counselors, if you’ve already filled out your application you can get a jump on your background check. The link is here.

REGISTRATION began March 1. One third, $130, was due at registration and that included a $75 non-refundable deposit. Two equal payments will follow, with the last being due on July 15.

We have reached our WAITING LIST. All students who sign up from this point forward will automatically be placed on the waiting list. DON’T WORRY, we work really hard to find a place for every student at camp. Just register as you normally would and we will contact you immediately if a space is found.

CABINS are a great place for friendships to form and to grow. During registration there will be an opportunity to request a specific cabinmate and we’ll do our best to make sure that friends are placed together.

The ACTIVITIES are great at Pyro 2. There are camp favorites such as the climbing wall, Oatmeal Game, the Blob, the band, swimming, ropes course, the Torpedo and more! Believe it or not, even without cell phones and video games, it’s impossible to get bored at Pyro 2!

The Music is incredible at Pyro 2. Each evening we have CLUB, which has a live band leading great, worshipful songs and ends with a relevant and meaningful message from our camp speaker.

For over 25 years Colonial Church has offered Pyro 2 to students entering 7th, 8th, and 9th grade. Pyro 2 has a great tradition of deepening faith, building relationships, and it’s a whole lot of fun! During a week at Pyro 2, jr. highers are encouraged to deepen their faith in Christ, to build community with one another and our great staff, and to experience a week they will never forget!

There is something wonderful that happens when 200 jr. highers are transported to Covenant Pines Bible Camp in McGregor, MN. Although we are only 2+ hours away from home, students feel like they are a world away as they unplug from their suburban worlds and are transported to a place where they can focus on the basics: having fun, building friendships, and having encounters with God!
